As a relative newcomer to the area, I tried the Golden Hind cafe a few months ago and it was spot-on. Consequently, I now go on a fairly regular basis and I haven't been disappointed once. Top class Fish & Chips, nice puddings/sweets and the tea is good. Furthermore, the young servers are delightful, and they can't do enough for the customer. Been today on a dull day, but the day was brighter after the meal! Would recommend to anybody.

Such a lovely experience. Gorgeous decor and ambience. Wonderful service. Exquisite fish, chips and mushy peas. Couldn’t fit one of their tempting sponge puddings with custard, cream or ice cream in, so I’ll be making sure I’m even hungrier when I go again this week 😋

First time coming here. Tucked away in a car park I came with my dad and my 5 year old. We had fish chips and curry sauce. Tea and bread and butter They catered for little ones. She had chicken nuggets and chips. Staff so friendly. Great portion sizes, couldn't fit a pudding in as we were full. Daughter managed some Ice cream though. We will certainly be back again. Thank you

Always enjoy good fish and chips from The Golden Hind. The staff are hardworking and friendly. There is a good menu choice inc soup of the day, the potato swizzler, pies, burgers, a selection of cakes and more. You can preorder takeaway.

Went for a birthday meal with 7 of clients who have learning disabilities could not fault the staff made to feel so welcome 14 of us had a meal lovely food everyone enjoyed it and the price was fab too highly recommend once again thanks guys for making us so welcome x
